Tax reporting is an essential function for financial compliance and record-keeping. This manual provides step-by-step guidance on generating and reviewing tax reports.

Generating a Tax Report

Accessing the Tax Report Section

Navigate to Analytics → Tax Report.

By default, the system generates a Tax Summary Report for all stores covering the previous calendar month. This report includes consolidated data on:

  • šŸ”¹Sales
  • šŸ”¹Sales Returns
  • šŸ”¹Purchases
  • šŸ”¹Purchase Returns
  • šŸ”¹Revenue
  • šŸ”¹Expenses

Types of Tax Reports

  • šŸ”¹Tax Summary Report: Provides an overview of total tax amounts on Sales, Returns, Purchases, Revenues, and Expenses, broken down by tax rate and product type.
  • šŸ”¹Tax by Type: A concise report showing applicable tax rates by operation type.
  • šŸ”¹Tax on Operations: Enables verification of tax charges for each Sale, Sale Return, and Purchase transaction.
  • šŸ”¹Tax on Products: Lists the products included in tax calculations, allowing you to confirm accuracy of tax rates and amounts for each item.
  • šŸ”¹Transaction Register: A complete log of all transactions, including detailed data on products, Sales, Returns, Purchases, tax rates, and amounts within a selected period.

šŸ’” Tip: To export, click Download as Excel on the control panel.

Customizing the Report View

You can tailor the report display to suit your needs:

  • šŸ”¹Select Specific Stores: You can select one or multiple stores by clicking on the field and checking the corresponding boxes next to each store name.
  • šŸ”¹Adjust Reporting Period: Use the date selector or quick presets like Last week, Last month, or 3 months.
  • šŸ”¹Apply Filters: Filter by:
    • Product Type
    • Tax Rate
    • Counterparty Type
    • POS terminal
  • šŸ”¹Quick Search: Use this field to find transactions by product name, counterparty, or other keywords.
